I love the Dolls so it was sad to see David Johansen pass, not unexpected though.

Everyone talks about his acting role in Scrooged but I first came across him in the B-science fiction movie Freejack with Emilio Estevez and fellow singer Mick Jagger.

Cool f**kin movie.

Richard Chamberlain star of TV, stage and movies has past away aged 90, just 2 days short of his 91st birthday.
Dr Kildare was one of his most famous roles and also appeared in the Thorn Birds and Shogun and movies such as the Bourne Identity, The Three Musketeers , The Last Wave and The Towering Inferno.

Just saw this post. Big fan of the Dolls and David, his best acting role by far is as Looney in Let It Ride

Looney: Fifty bucks on Junebug to win! It's the same name as my cat.

I saw the news headline online about his passing, but given the time/date difference between here and america, I figured it was an April Fools hoax.

Seemingly not. Whatever his profession, whoever he was, it doesn't matter: 65 is way too young.

I can’t begin to say how sad I am today upon hearing of Clem Burke’s passing. As the Blondie drummer, I suckled on EAT TO THE BEAT as a child. His work on DREAMING was frantic; amazing; out of this world. Blondie were my Bluey or Wiggles. At 70, it still is too young.

As one of the core in Blondie, the scope of his drumming work is up there with the best. Today, I’ll be drumming my fingers on every surface I touch. RIP

Saw a news headline Blondie star dead at 70, knew it wouldn't have been Debbie Harry because she was older so was trying to work out who it was before reading the article.

You are not wrong about 70 being to young, i am way closer to 70 than 50 .
Eat To The Beat is my favourite Blondie album and have it on my IPOD , plus on vinyl and CD.
