Anyone know how Warner is progressing. will he be fit for the 1st test?

If not, then id imagine Clarke comes into the side above, and either Agar or Doherty are dropped. Got a feeling henriques will make his test debut next week

Agar, Starc and Siddle are no mugs, they can all bat and are no worse than a no8/9- which is where they are batting and Agar has runs at Shield and club level.

Have you seen Lyons over the last year?

There were 2 tests over the summer there to be won on the 5th day and Lyon had as much penetration as a virgin in a nunnery.

Believe me when I say that believing X is our best spinner right now says more about the lack of quality spinners we have than it does about how good X is.

Doherty isn't much good, but we have a better chance of taking 20 wickets in a test this tour with him in the team than we do with Lyon.
