1. Will Kennedy - put on muscle.

2. Ikavalu - practice catching cakes of soap while running naked.

3. Ramien - practice throwing the Steeden from left to right - 10,000 times…

4. Mulitalo - don’t be a mug lair…

5. Katoa - get stronger.

6. Hynes - make sure you are ready to handle running a team.

7. Trindall - don’t overplay your hand.

8. Finucane - do EXACTLY what you have been doing at the Storm…

9. Brailey - less tackling, more creativity. Get stronger.

10. BHU - more blockbusting runs.

11. Wilton - get more consistent. Run harder.

12. Graham - get Fitzy to teach you basic tackling technique.

13. McInnes - smash it - make the NSW side!

14. Moylan - make your 20 minutes count!

15. Toby - Clean up your missed tackles.

16. Williams - build, build, build!

17. Fifita - end with a bang!

Trindall and Hynes. Work on a kicking game where yous can put up one of those towering, hard to catch, Bombs , or deceptive but precise Banana kick to a centre or winger, sneaky little grubber catching opposition off guard for try or six again , 40 ,20 to change momentum of the game , Perfectly placed kicks to the corner keep opposition pinned back maybe even 6 again, or cut out pass for a try!.... and perfecting understanding with rest of team what is going on. Is that asking too much ?

As much as I have dropped veiled hints about this for months you're the first to comment, even though I know you've been aware

Feefs, Graham, Hynes, Trindall, Ramien, Kennedy and maybe even another could make us the side with the highest number of fellas in the comp. And I like it too.

It’s a shame that feefs and graham aren’t anywhere near their best. If they all peaked together it’d be a dream combo.

I want Trindall to come out of the shell. Take it on, seems a quiet kid.
He needs to up his fitness level. He got burned by backrowers in the D line more than once or twice. He's got all the skills of a good HB.. I dunno if he'll kick on from here but he was showing some good signs towards the end of last season.

Tracey - Ideally nail down one spot. What that is I am not sure but I do feel like it is not centre
Moylan - Fitness and play 20 plus games. Ideally in the halves with Hynes
Taumoepeau - Be ready
Hiroti - Get rid of the cement shoes
Tolman - Be a strong off field leader and mentor.

I just did most of our first grade squad cbf for the train and trials as I don't know much about a few of them but as you can see despite all the happy vibes there is a lot of work to be done. In saying that this is the most confident I have been in years going into a season. McInnes, Finucane, Hynes character in with Johnson, Woods, Townsend and Dugan out is a tremendous culture uplift.

I couldn’t give a rats about individuals, I just want us to go out and defend as a unit, a well organised, uncompromising defensive unit - forward packs used to hate playing us, because we were tough as teak, sometimes shit, sometimes good, but always tough… I want that back, with more sometimes good than sometimes shit!
If we get the steel in defence, we have the players to work their magic in attack - I’d like an offload game, and plenty of options/runners rather than simple ‘out the back’ - but priority has to be defence, for everyone!
Nail the defence, we put ourselves in with a chance against anyone. Apart from Manly of course.
