No chance. Another laughable attempt by a players manager.

Stupid player managers, they should make him do some linebacker drills at an NFL pre-season camp as punishment for spruiking such stupidity.

For any Australian to make it in the NFL (punters dont count) they would need at least a few season in a Div1AA college team.

He wouldnt even make it as a kick returner as some have said. Too tall, too slow, he would get his knees separated from the rest of him pretty quickly.

He would be an idiot not to investigate the possibility of playing NFL with the money on offer. He could play either first or second receiver or with some practice make a good Quarterback.

Dont they recycle this story every few years?

In recent memory it was Willie Mason then SBW and now Inglis.

Just change the name and your story for the week is done, brilliant!

Its that OzPunt group, its a huge scam. They are so publicity hungry its not funny, and as yet, they havent assisted ANYONE into the NFL.

Inglis would own the NFL as a kick returner.

NFL players can't tackle properly... like 10% of the players on the team are actually decent tacklers. Inglis would laugh them off. I have never seen anyone in the NFL with footwork as good as Benji either. No one in the NFL has a fend like Inglis, in fact you rarely ever see a player switch the ball from one arm to the other.

Sounds like there are quite a few posters here with a good knowledge of NFL. You arent one of them.

No one with footwork as good as Benji?

You haven't seen many running backs go around have you. LT in his prime absolutely smokes Benji. He could cut in either direction, off either leg and barely lose a yard of speed.

No good fends? Ever seen Terrell Owens with the ball after the catch?

Inglis would only possibly make it as a wide receiver. But all in all, he isn't a chance. Guys who were stars in college and high school struggle to adjust having to learn playbooks despite having played the game all their lives. What chance does a guy who's never played it and probably only watched it fleetingly on TV have?

Inglis as a KR? Wow, he would make a really poor KR. Doesn't have the agility or speed required.

I could only see him as a TE or physical WR. But in reality it would never happen, so many players with more skill don't make it in the NFL every year.

A NFL player converting to league would be really interesting, they would totally have to retrain their muscle set but it would be an easier transition.

you do realise this guy is probably a offensive/defensive linesmen not a kick returner, but i mean damm imagine getting hit by him, if they improve on weights and stuff, theres no telling what some kids will be able to do in 10 years time, they could kill somebody out there

greg inglis is a freak of nature athlete in AUS. In the USA there are thousands of much better athletes who have played gridiron their whole lives who never make it.

He would be up against much faster, stronger athletes then himself if he went over.

Based purely off natural athletic ability i think jennings would have more chance at making it as a RB. His footwork and acceleration and power suits an NFL running back, but neither of them have buckleys.

WR is the only position Inglis would have a chance at and even then he'd need a year just to condition his body. Anyone who says KR obviously knows nothing about NFL. KR are fast, agile little men, they're all about Billy Slater size, big KR don't work because the aim is to avoid contact, Inglis as a KR might beat 1 or 2 tacklers but they'd slow him down enough for the other guys to tackle him.

Someone mentioned Benji footwork, well the jumop step wouldn't work in NFL because slowing down, jumping, stepping and accelerating again will result in some 250 pound gorilla putting you on a stretcher. NFL footwork is about changing direction without compromising speed
