Walsh has a scan on Tuesady. Might only have 4 weeks until ready. Healing well.

Can only speculate, but expect Seage ready before round 15.

I kind of hope Dureau proves himself and Walsh puts the playmaking skills into Flegg that are so much needed - and Seu Seu too.

Kosef [spelling] from manly had 4 knee reconstructions over his career. It's a real shame for seage, but other players have been in worse situations and still played great football.

According to today's paper, both MacDougall (forearm) and White (forget where) have slight injuries, but aren't expected to miss the next round. I can't see MacDougall missing the Bunnies clash- he'll play in a wheelchair if needed:lol:

No mention of Carmont.

Sam Wooden is ready to go.

He will play this weekend for Wests where he spent his juniors.

Amanzingly, he will start in Thirds and bench for Reserves.

All going well next week unless he is called up to Knights he will start in Reserves and bench for Firsts.

Such is the depth (and politics) of Newcastle Rugby League......

I stubbed my toe and am in considerable doubt to make it to the hairdressers this morning.

Looks like Kidley is in doubt for the match with the same problem Sargent had- tendonitis.

Dont worry roopy, Walsh wont walk into the squad.
i'm really pleased he should start in Flegg - that side needs a halfback so bad.
Put Seu Seu there too and they will be unbeatable.

Willy Toupou - Possible but unlikely this week. Right for next.

Walshy - As above.

Hess - Ankle strain, should be right for weekend.

Scott Duereu - Groin strain. Unbelievable! Doctor thinks its just scar tissue, should be right for weekend.

Mitchell Sargent - Played PL, will likely have another run there to get back up to fitness.

If both Walshy and Scotty are out this weekend, how will our halves look in PL?

And Dan Tolar has a broken nose and stitches from a head clash. He will play this weekend, but his modelling career, if he was considering one, is over.

Call up the Wallace brothers from Wests - or how about a millionth chance for Briggs.

No really - Seu Seu to hooker - Hunt to 5/8 and Karawana to halfback.
