If we get In the finals and want to be a serious threat we need both Tonga and Sio back In the side. Toutai and Morgan are liabilities and whilst they didnt cost us last night we will be exposed by the good teams in the finals.
Centre Willie Tonga is carrying a lumbar spine injury, and is likely to return in Round 26.
Ken Sio is carrying a left shoulder fracture and is likely to be available to return in Round 25.
The Eels travel to Newcastle on Sunday with a host of players set to return. Winger Ken Sio (shoulder) and forwards Kelepi Tanginoa (knee) and Mitch Allgood (knee) could be called upon while back-rower Manu Ma'u is at least another week away from a fractured forearm.
Agree, we need Sio and Tonga slotted back in ASAP. Morgan doesn't provide enough ball to that big fella on the wing.
while back-rower Manu Ma'u is at least another week away from a fractured forearm.
Of that list, Mau is probably the only genuine chance of coming onto the side.
You're kidding arent you? A fit Ken Sio should get a start ahead of Vai Toutai
I wonder if M'au comes in if we then lose Moeroa? ... maybe tepai is playing thanks to a 2nd tier exemption due to injuries to others???
Calm down chippy, I'm with you, Sio over Toutai for sure, but I'm guessing that Arthur will keep Toutai there.
