If Peats got his reco shortly after he did his knee, he would be roughly 5 months post surgery. He's be sweet to run, but he wouldn't be doing contact drills or anything like that.

The Eels are taking a large group of players to train in Seattle ahead of the regular pre-season. Nathan Peats had shoulder and knee surgery in the middle of the year but will be ready to start pre-season on November 17. The same goes for Lee Mossop who had shoulder surgery, while Manu Ma’u (fractured left forearm) and Bureta Faraimo (PCL tear, knee) have recovered from their injuries. Mitchell Allgood had knee surgery at the end of the season and is expected back at training in late November — early December.
