LARS has a very small chance of working and when it does work it's only for short-term use, in the long-term it isn't that effective. Better off just letting KE sit out and wait, we have the depth to do so.

I don't mind brad Arthur as a coach but was a blunder by him selecting his strongest team. What a joke, two players out for the year! Dumb dumb dumb.

1)Well it wasnt his strongest team..

2)Shit happens will you whinge if someone goes down next week in a trial match?

The 9's gave players chance to dust of cobwebs after the offseason in preperation for trials.

The most disappointing part is it will result in increased minutes for defensive powerhouse Sef Paulo

17Wicks/Terepo/Fa'asso

Pauli/nelson/Seph

Takarangai may also go into second row if needed, especialy of champion comes good and one other young centre is killing it.

ACL is standard 6 months and hope there are no infection.

Depends on the severity. Partial tear and just a repair of that, can be happily back in three months. Full tear is 6-9, so if it's totally gone then so is Kenny sadly.

I don't think BA sees them as interchangeable. More likely increased minutes for someone like Pauli P.

In round 1 last year when everyone was fully fit Edwards started in the middle where Seph plays. I think seph may have even replaced him IIRC.

Why are they waiting two weeks to have it done out of curiosity? Be nice if the club said expected time out.EVen with Kaysa no one has said. I wouldnt be suprised if he just gives it up thou.

Probably need to book the doctor in, make sure they're getting the right parts repaired. A lot would be done to make sure the surgery is done correctly, much better than him going in this weekend and getting a botched job.

Most clubs get it done straight away. I don't think it would be waiting for a doctor. Nu Brown who also did his ACL on the weekend was getting his operated on early this week.

I completely ruptured my ACL and had a reco last year and was back running in around 6 months. With all the great assistance and professional care he will have, hopefully he will be back before the finals.

Running after 6 months Would be a good result, and probably a benchmark for him.

But changes of direction/stepping, thats a while different thing.

Granted I don't have full time physio care and first class facilities at my disposal, but I'm 18 months post surgery and still feel ginger on sudden directional change at speed.

I did my ACL and was back running after 6 months, I went through the public system with only two physio sessions ( I did a program at home).
