Injury Updates

But when the mighty can do nothing wrong Gus and the Riff signed the prone to injury Peter Wallace who went on to miss over half the season , obviously that was a shrewd deal. Are you sure you support the Eels

It was a 1 year deal on close to the minimum, worth the risk

By the way,who else was available ?? If they were , probably signed for the Riff :)

See you have gone off half cocked. Is Wallace injury prone? No so the fact he was injured is the same chance as an other player. He was also cheap and of good pedigree.
Champion is an average centre who is only slightly better than morgan. And at that stage we still had Hayne so Hoppa was already an option.
Champion has always been injury prone and even if he was cheap the fact he last 1.5 games means he was a total waste of money. If Morgan played against Manly we still win so in same position.Need too face fact that some guys are always injured. We bought a guy who is average when fit .

Now Penrith do have 4 centres better than us so I wouldn't laugh too much.
Idris whare and a few young guys who I told everyone we should chase.
Right now id go after Moss. There reserve fullback, than we can move hoppa to centres where he belongs.

Telecrap are saying that Taka and Hoppa are both in doubt for the Souths game.

Think people don't notice Paulo's efforts in D, and the fact that when he has the ball in his hands he creates extra space because the opposition know he has a decent pass on him and are not sure whether to rush up on him or hold back.

Think he's done his job well so far this year, and it's not like we have anyone else capable of filling his role in the lower grades

Spoke to a person who knows Moeroa well. They said he played with a bad infection to his leg, and not surprisingly he really struggled. Will be in hospital for a few days yet. Got straight off plane and was admitted to hospital.

No good. Interesting to see if he plays on Friday.

They whipped him into hospital like they did Watmerkin.

He'll be sweet.

Rest him only if his shoulder needs it.

We're in strife if either Hoppa or Taka can't play... who would come into teh backline? Sef Paulo? M'au in the centres, with Terepo into the 17?

And what if Moeroa isn't able to take the field ...

We're going to get lapped!

There was a picture of Hoppa at the NZ airport on Sunday , it was on Twitter can't be bothered finding the link now. But he looked ok, was wearing a backpack without strapping anywhere ( wasn't it a shoulder problem?). Definitely didn't look injured.
