Not good about semi.

Anyhow while I don't want to concede defeat I would rest all our injured players for next two weeks, give them time to heal. Souths/ wsrriors are tough games (which really we will be underdogs) and prefer to be fit and ready for titabs/tigers - win those two games and we have a 3 from 6 start for year - which is as good as any time in the last 20 years.

Ive got a really bad feelling that we are going to be that team in the comp this year that gets decimated by injuries and suspensions in the first half of the season and falls a long way off the pace.

Maybe, I think Sandow is the most important player. We need him but do have some depth to replsce a further others. I think we have 3-4 more forwards (as long as they aren't all picked at once) that could do the job. We have a few backs and a coupe of big wingers.

Also apparently we do have cap space, so we could sign a player or too.

I'm guessing using Wicks tonight we've dipped into the second tier cap as well.

I think bigger squads like BA has drummed up will be the norm in the next few years for this exact reason. Depth is just so vital in a competition that has an increasing trend of serious injuries.

No matter cos our cap was expecting Hayne, right ?

The second tier cap is entirely independent of the top 25 cap, although players can move from one to the other when another player enters or leaves the top 25 (e.g. Hayne).

However I'm convinced that one of our new recruits (Champion, Takairangi, Robinson) was brought in to replace Hayne, and that the club knew about it well before his official announcement.
