Second-rower Kelepi Tanginoa will undergo surgery this week for syndesmosis of the ankle, and will miss approximately 12-14 weeks of competition.

Kaysa Pritchard suffered a low grade ankle sprain, leaving him unavailable for Round 9.

Club Captain Tim Mannah is likely to miss one more week of competition as he recovers from a fractured shoulder blade, and halfback Mitch Cornish will be available to play despite leaving the field with a mild cork in the Wentworthville Magpies’ Round 8 clash with the Wests Tigers.

Matt Woods (hamstring) and John Folau (fractured foot) are expected to make their returns to the field in Round 10.

Fullback Bevan French will likely miss 2-3 further weeks of competition recovering from a dislocated elbow.

Anthony Watmough continues to train on a modified rehabilitation program for a knee injury, with a return date yet to be confirmed.

Club's probaby copy-pasting, so as nt to invalidate the nsurance claim? Or maybe the Club will give Watmough a gig running the water bottle...

Shame about Kelepi.

Im trying to figure out if there is some gain to be made in choc's insurance claim by playing it this way

Or whether you just say, Choc's knee is f**ked and we cant imagine any way he could play again

It's probably a good idea to communicate that the club's preferred solution is to have a fit and raring to go Watters, and that we didn't go into this deal hoping that it would come down to a payout.

Maybe they can't say anything until it is officially finalised? Maybe they have to say what they're saying for legal reasons? I dunno, I get my info from Barry's website..

So who plays in the halves in 2 weeks?

Foran, Taka, Kelly, Cornish all out

Maybe we do need to make a play for Hastings..

So with over half the season still remaining do we get somewhere in the vicinty of 600K cap relief for this year??

Let's get that Fijian 7's bloke who made his debut in London the other week.... he reminded me of someone.....

I don't believe the salary cap dispensation for an injured player works that way.

I'd give Pritchard a go there. Surely it's a better option than the battering ram role he's been playing the last few weeks.
