The Bunnies half we signed is Ok (I can't recall his name).
Nothing flash, but he can play.
Nothing flash, but he can play.
Well if we trust the NRL Physio's opinion here and its sounds likely as a result of running loads.
I reckon his only chance now is a game 3 decider, and only if we win the first one and then look limp and ineffective in a big game 2 loss.Let's hope he doesn't play Origin this year..
Volkman is only approved to play because Hawkins is out. Injury report says he is available from round 2, making Volkman unavailableGood thing out of this is that if Brown walks next year we at least have 6 weeks of watching Volkman to evaluate him..
The rest of the team will also learn to play without Moses under the new Coaching as well.
Volkman should be a more able replacement than what we were stuck with last year but if we don’t win 3 out of those 6, I’ll certainly be putting a line through us this year. That's our season done...I don't think we can go 6 games without our most important player, and catch up.
Do we know that he was actually running 'loads' in the off-season? He can't do nothing in the off-season, and no approach is without risk. Maybe he was working up gradually, reported no worsening symptoms initially and then started to decline?Well if we trust the NRL Physio's opinion here and its sounds likely as a result of running loads.
Someone at the club in high performance has had a monumental stuff up if this has come from running loads in the off-season.
How do you mismanage your most important & highest paid marquee player.
No point sugar coating it as it sounds like a balls up.
In Penrith's 4 premiership years Cleary has missed 37 games from a possible 109

He missed 16 games last year and we still won 7. If he only misses 6 games, we should still make the finals. That's our season done...I don't think we can go 6 games without our most important player, and catch up.
Wow, if Moses injury is worse than expected, what's Mitchell going to do- having just signed away all those money-saving PO player options that gave him added security?

Their win rate without Cleary is about 20% less than their win rate with him in the team.Sighhhhhhhh oh well season 2025 was nice while it lasted.
In all honestly the rest of this squad need to keep their chins up and just have a f**king dig. We can't be so reliant on one player, Penrith seem to lose Cleary for at least 6 weeks every season but its just business as usual for them.
So are you saying that if he misses more than 16 game we'll win more?He missed 16 games last year and we still won 7. If he only misses 6 games, we should still make the finals.

He and Volkman have both starred in NSW Cup. It's a good sign for a backup. The Bunnies half we signed is Ok (I can't recall his name).

He activated those PO years and we gave him an extra one on top. Nobody canceled any PO.Wow, if Moses injury is worse than expected, what's Mitchell going to do- having just signed away all those money-saving PO player options that gave him added security?
