I spoke to Luca in the cumberland lounge today.

Lovely fella and was a gentleman actually.

I was told the official story from himself and he is injured atm but he will be back.

He dodged a bullet but will be back in a month or so.

Most definitely, it’s good to have some clarification cheers.

He finally cemented himself in the top 17 last season and was playing good footy at the end of the year, we could use his energy out there.

He is a good kid.

I spoke to him for about 3-4 mins about life, footy, and obivously the injury.

He admitted himself he might be a bit gun shy when he returns considering its the Achilles he strained. And its a serious injury once it pops your done for a long time. So hopefully the medical staff and Luca get the rehab right physically and mentally as well.

He also agreed with me that our heritage strip next week should be our home jersey.

Mitch might be having second thoughts about rushing his return not to mention checking with his cousin about an early exit to a title winning capable club.

Bailey Simmonson played half a match in reggies. The team have him doing slow 50m, medium pace 100m runs down the sideline during the second half. He looks good.

The only NRL Top 17 player on the list is Moses.

Moretti, Dick Penis and Latu the others.

Looks like Moretti back next week likely through Cup. Not sure Penisini Jr will displace any of the guys picked in our Cup backline at the moment?

Shame Latu's out for that long. And glad Moses is slated for a return in what should be our first win of the season making amends against the Tigers at easter.
