Yeah as back up there. But putting him there, takes away from what he has been good at recently, playing around the middle. That's what the side needs.

Yep. Pretty sure he's been coming off the bench in the middle for a while now. Hopgood will start and Walker will come on when there's a bit of fatigue setting in. Will work as that link through the middle and hopefully offer a bit of a running threat around tired forwards.

as with any signing comes down to the $. But I feel like he wouldn't have been in high demand so we might've got a decent deal. There isn't much quality off contract for next year so a good signing that should improve the team.

I genuinely think that’s where it’s headed. We are about to be 0-4, so put a line through 2025. I pretty much have but I’m still going to enjoy it for what it is. We are building towards something and with a bit of luck Galvin or similar will be one of the final pieces of the puzzle.

Either that or a decade in the wilderness.

Unfortunately, the task of turning the club's fortunes around is probably going to take at least 12 months - likely 24, imo.

This is not to say that Brad Arthur did a terrible job - but I don't think he paid sufficient attention to long-term planning, and his lack of attention to this has left us in a bit of a bad state.
