Still find it hard to believe Nathan smith is still with us. Was a decent play for us in the Elliot days, would of thought he would of got picked up by an ESL club by now.

nathen is not intertested in esl he is the final year of his apprentership and needs to stay in the area.He is on low money .But the footy money helps with the low apprentiship money

Corey Parker is in career best form and in my opinion is the best backrower in the comp. All three of Brisbane's backrow have proven they will get in and do the tough stuff at club and origin level.

I think to balance our backrow more, one of either Cartwright or Peachey need to be on the bench with Manu or Brown starting instead. I believe Taylor is guaranteed to start when fit as he will play the entire 80 and make 50 tackles a game. Peachey is fantastic and has real value in our 17 but having him start and relying on him to do the hard stuff, I'm not sold on yet. Not sure on everyone else's opinion, just my view. Maybe if he bulks up a bit over the off season this may help his cause.

I like Peachey off the bench - taking advantage of tired forwards at the back end of each half.

Brown is in career best form and deserves his place amongst some of the better 2nd rowers in the game. He should be a starter for us.

Not sure where this leaves Docker (who don't forget almost made the World Cup squad)

Would be nice if we had these sort of problems in the front row - where I think we may struggle early on in the season. Not quite enough aggression and size for me. Our front rowers don't really command any fear in the opposition. They have the reliability of a Toyota, but sometimes you want to impress with the aggression of a V8 muscle car.

You've got that right, Browns form was outstanding this year. A gun halfback and big aggressive prop would round out our team nicely.

Brown is playing a lot better but I think bench is his spot. Come on after 20mins in each half and use his dummy half running.

So you want wingers better than an Australian winger and NZ winger? Theyre not perfect but we're doing better than most clubs. Docker is a worry agreed.
I think Carty and Brown should start on the bench with Manu and Peach starting. Potentially moving to Brown and Carty starting with Peachey of the bench and maybe Idris and Api. Browns role changes of Api is in the team.

Prop rotation could be weak. We have heaps of options though so hopefully some of them do the business and hopefully Cleary makes the right calls.

I'm not all that high on Mansour - sure he has great go forward for a team that had a few weak performances from the forwards, but his hands are bad, he's slow, and he's not a natural finisher. DWZ hasn't really done much on the wing so far, and I haven't seen much to get excited about yet.

We could go undefeated next season and billy would find a way to have a whinge about how bad the team is.
