We could go undefeated next season and billy would find a way to have a whinge about how bad the team is.

DWZ hasn't really done much on the wing so far, and I haven't seen much to get excited about yet.

VTk trialling for Northern pride, cowboys feeder. Big loss.

Shame none of the Tia Kilifis really kicked on. Vaipuna looked an absolute freak at 17 or so. Hopefully he gets an injury free run and does well.
Akeripa Tia Kilifi to the cowboys as well named in there side for this week's trial.

I remember it well. Fittler is a once in 100 years player. It is often the case that youngsters who have a physical advantage over their peers during their junior football, stand out as being better than what they really are. Once their peers improve their strength, they come back to the field. I think VTK fitted that pattern. Physically imposing at a young age which allowed him to dominate and as others grow and catch up with him, he has turned out to be just ok, not exceptional.
Very few continue their dominance. Brad Fittler is the one who stands out in my years of watching juniors. Physically imposing at every age and when he steps up to First Grade and plays against man mountain Meninga in the GF, he runs him down and tackles him as he streaks away for a certain try. He then physically lifts him above his head. I have a great photo somewhere of him holding Meninga off the ground. He was 19 and Meninga was a colossus.
Meninga was a colossus.
Is Jessica Alba ugly because another woman is considered more beautiful?Meninga was indeed a colossus, but Ken Irvine he was not, and as such you'd expect a talented young centre to catch him.
The Sattler Grand Final tackle, a backrower on a winger, was more remarkable in my opinion.
