For the south's guys who never got to play at an NRL level this would be the experience of a life time.

Imagine when Lloyd Robson reopens and the crowd is closer this will be even more awesome

Thats exactly what I was thinking!

I was at the Souths game the week before at Stradbroke Island - which i thought was a good turn out by QCup standards.

For those guys to go from Straddie in front of a few hundred people to that is quite incredible

Was there an officialish crowd figure for the PNG game ?

The highest NRL crowd over the weekend was 15,118 so I'm wondering whether a Queensland Cup game has topped that.

For the second year in a row the Capras have had to make several changes to their lineup due to players not having passports to travel to New Guinea. Some of these players didn,t have passports last year. This is from a club who wants a NRL licence. Geoff Murphy is kidding himself. the wheel has fallen off.

The Central Queensland Capras arrived in PNG yesterday with only 15 Players and their Team officials.

They came with two players short because of the visa issues.

The have therefore recruited to players from the Local Digicel Cup Team Agmark Rabaul Gurias to play for them today.

The two Young Players from the Gurias Clement Kilangit (Winger ) and Lance Kuveu (2nd rower) will be running out with CQ capras this arvo.


I'm not even sure if this is allowed in the comp but that is how it will be this arvo.

Easts TigerTV is absolutely brilliant, better than the NRL service that is for sure.
