you know Haynsey, I've been in Hong Kong for 13 years now and I read quite alot of Chinglish. On top of that, you read all the short forms due to SMS and sometimes you really, really get confused with what's right and what's not. It's a confusing world out there for our young'uns.
When one Chinese persons reads Chinglish from another one and thinks it is correct, they copy it. This duplicates many times over and then it becomes the norm.
It's only because I enjoy reading books and novels that helps me keep from what's right or wrong (Grammatically that is).
Now I read that the kids have their own sex language. Geez!!!
However, my spoken chinese is not that good, however, in Hong Kong, it doesn't matter as long as I get the message across.
