Nah they would hae the balls or brain capacity to apologise.
We have a bunch of idiots who like to Judge peoples characters!!

Are they that dumb that they believe any story without quotes?? Especially from tabloid mags....... fair dinkum!!

For mine Inu isn't a centre.
He doesn't hit the ball at great speed, he is very strong in tackles but he jt isn't a centre and for someone on $300k+, well thats an origin centre.
He isn't even close to being one.

Love him as a person and hope he plays for parra his whole career, but as a winger on half the money he's on.

Mate, Justin Hodges wouldn't stand a chance of doing sh*t in our backline today. I hope Inu gets the opportunity to run of some proper plays and play outside a decent half pairing. When he does, people won't be so synical.

His defence is woeful, gave Lyon too much room.
Had to be in his face.

That has nothing to do with our pack, he just doesn't measure up in defence and hasn't for a long time

Lyon isn't your average center Mr T. I think your assesment on Inu is a little harsh. Inu didn't miss any one on one tackle today did he?

guys liek Jennings, Collis, Lawrence, Falou are all good centres with defencive issues. One of the best centres of the last decade Gasnier is one of the worst defencive centres I have seen. Inu is strong and makes good tackles, but what people dont realise is that the centres is probably the hardest position to defend in. At the very least he isn't an arm grabber and commits in defence unlike some of the above, it does take time to learn how to make the right decisions. Players in first grade are there because the normally take the right option, and someone like Lyon is one of the best at drawing and passing. Inu did a pretty decent job today on Lyon and looked dangerous outwide, If anything his winger was as much to blame if not more for most of the tries down that side.

I think it must be remembered that Inu has not had a very long first grade career yet, either. I think he is a centre; but time will tell. I`ve never doubted his passion - I think that he just has a very casual style (like Hayne) and it can sometimes be misconstrued that he is disinterested.

Speaking of defensive centres...I think Tautai played quite well today in defence. Every time he decided to come out of the line it was pretty much a good call.

HJ I think Tautai himself is a few years off being a quality centre, but he will never be anything more than another link in a good team. These days you can probably have 2-3 good outside back, 1 good half and 5-6 good forwards. The rest of the team is going to be made up of average or above average players that can do a job, and that is what Tautai is to me IMO. If we do come across another Hayne or Inu, they will probably be let go because we wouldnt be able to afford them (i.e Brisbane set to loss Hunt, but have Hodges and Falou).

I would say the players we have that our team is going to be based around is Hayne, Inu, Mateo, Keating, Cayless, Hindmarsh, Fuifui. Realistically we are missing about 2-3 quality forward, and we are stuck with average or inexperianced relpacments. That was amplified today when Cayless went down we lost all goforward, Fui just cant do it all himself. Mannah is still young but he needs more support until he does his time in FG

I think Inu had a pretty good game yesterday, at least he looked like he was having a go.

Inu went well yesterday. As did the team until Keating's jaw was broken. I'd keep him but not at 400K or whatever it was...

inu got shown up by lyon all day....
as stated many times. Inu is a winger.
he never passes it to his winger when in the centres.

Sorry mate, but Anderson won't be basing any team around Cayless.
He'll be gone at the end of next season, if not sooner.

he actually broke tackles and the line....i am pretty sure his wingers saw plenty of ball...

Gasnier was a DIY man - yes, occassionally he'd pass the ball. But if he made a break more often than not he'd try and finish it himself.

The reason why Inu will be a great centre in my opinion is because he has amazing footwork - suck the defenders in and then offload to the winger and way he goes. Footwork like that is wasted on the wing.

Also, I don't know where this concept of a good centre MUST pass the ball to his winger is coming from. In these days, a lot of the great centres go themselves and break the line. So I don't necessarily think it's a pre-requisite for a centre.

One of the Sunday papers (can't remember if it was Beck & Sloth or Weidler - but one of the usual suspects) says that Ando has told Inu to harden up & stop smirking on the field as it gives the opposition a physiological advantage. The article also suggests that several "cashed up" clubs are watching the Inu situation closely.
