6. Reddy
7. Morts

I have a feeling something weird like that will end up happening

Something a little less weird would be Tahu at five-eight. I even wouldn't mind seeing Inu at five-eight for a little while - might strengthen his game.

I think it's Tahu who has to find his place in the team, same with Poore & Shack. Hard to displace anyone in a team that made the grand final

I would be keeping Inu in the centres and keep the partnership with Burt, and have Tahu and Guru on the other side. With Reddy I would look at turning him into a ball playing lock.

Reddy is a terrific defensive centre. You need them. He's great on our line; great against high balls and grubbers close to the line. Not every big, defensive centre should be thrown into the backrow of the scrum just to make way for a faster, flashier runner. Reddy's not a speed-machine, but neither is Inu. Reddy can keep up all right.

Why would Burt be more replaceable, when he is our goal-kicker, arguably our most creative back (he doesn't just play as a winger), and is in career-best form? Also has consistently performed (and got better and better) over the last three years. And is well-respected by the other players and is part of the leadership group. Why is he more replaceable?
I reckon Anderson might experiment with Tahu at five-eight, though. Mortimer at half, Tahu at five-eight. That way, the most 'replaceable' back - Krisnan Inu - can keep his place.

I ment it in no disrespect and clearly said that he should hold his spot but the reason I said that is because I think Inu, Tahu, Grothe and Reddy have features in their game that we will miss if they arnt in the team while Burts greatest asset is his consistantly which can be replicated by any of those three players (Burt, Grothe or Reddy) but he is the proven performer.

I am torn, Reddy is the best player under the high ball in our team and he reads defence very well which would make him a very good winger IMO (even better then centre), Grothe hitups are like no other winger in the game and takes alot of pressure off the forwards and Inu is our best centre and puts players into gaps better then any player in our backline (including Tahu and Hayne) plus his footwork makes him a tough as a centre IMO.

I think Burt should be in the team on the wing but I am torn between who should be left out, and we know that Inu is a very good goal kicker so Burt should not be picked on this but IMO he would get a spot even if he wasnt a goal kicker.

you can't be serious ,
Inu rarely puts any other players into gaps.

Well he does just not very fluently. Tends to take on defence then offload to put player into gap. I find it a little stifling at times but Burt and Morts have found gaps because of it this season

If the Cowboys were to sign ANY player in your backline, in all honesty I'd prefer Reddy. He's big, brilliant defender and he can pass. if we'd had him on the right instead of Ash Graha, we would have made the 8, if not top 6 this year. He wouldn't be on a whole lot of money either.

Well, I think you are dead wrong about Burt, but that's cool. I think Hayne is irreplaceable, and then comes Burt and Reddy. I think Inu, on current form, not 'potential', is the most replaceable.

Everyone is saying that we can't fit all these players into the team next year.
I believe we can.
We've lost Kingston, so why not have Burt in the No. 14?
Good quick hands from dummy half, good kicking game, good football brain. He could cope with the role quite easily, or on the other hand, be a utility back replacement, where he could slot into any position from 1 through 7 easily if required. A sort of Craig Wing type role.
It then leaves room for Tahu, Reddy Inu and Grothe.

Just a thought.

for the ROI in Inu? he's a fizzer, sorry, but Reddy has proven this year to be more reliable. Burt back on the wing has proven to be reliable - Inu is the one that misses out, seriously people, yeah he goes good now and then, but Reddy for the investment is more reliable, and not costing us a sh*tload too.
