can handle them....

however what is great fun is when you do outside with a pack of matches and some petrol. Find some trap door spiders and fill their hole with petty and throw a match down there
when the big f**k comes out on fire and staggering about its pretty funny

Not much to do down canberra way? U should come here and kill all my spiders for me. My mates think its great when i see a spider cause i shit myself, just lik fatty did on the footy show a few years back.

1985 I saw what the locals call a Banana Spider in the Tamborine Mountains. To this day, nobody believes me, but I swear it's the truth. It's body was the size of a football. Legs were thicker than my fingers. We had an awesome view of it. It was on the outside of a glass sliding door.

I couldn't get out of that place quick enough.

some tarantulas can grow as big as dinner plates. I don't fancy getting too close to one.

One of the AM's at TFS has a pet tarantula called Cruella.

I was in a pet store a few weeks ago and they had stick spiders and scorpions for sale. I don't know who would want one of those as a pet.

My friend has a pet snake - carpet python, its only 3 feet long and has a lot more growing to do!

We used to get bird eating spiders in Irian Jaya. They freaked me out...they were to big to fit behing the furniture...I came home to see one stuck one day...and the lil buggers were smart...i am starting to look around the room in freaked out fashion...i hate spiders. :?
