Is 2021 hanging by a thread?

Should be. The only side playing worse than us at the moment is Canterbury, and even they look like they're improving.
Agree. When you look at the draw and the games coming up, there aren't any that I can confidently pencil in a win, including the Dogs! Time to try a few new players, at least until we get JDB, Zac and FYI back.

I reckon the next 3 are winnable.
Broncos without a couple of Origin players will be a 50/50 game.
Dogs we should beat regardless of who we pick.
Raiders I am spewing that Fui and McGuire still won’t be back for that but if Zac and Duff are in we will have a decent chance.
Just on trying new players, I don’t think we have those options otherwise we wouldn’t be playing guys like Williame and Beale surely.

I like your optimism, but the Dragons were just awful against the Tigers. I hope they can find room for Sullivan on the bench as one option, and Amone is worth persevering with I think.

Yeah but they’ll get up for next week. Like all teams from 6th to 15th they are inconsistent. Look at Titans today, woeful.
Sharks on the other hand looked great. Up down up down.
Next week we’ll have a crack.

Gee we are a slow boring team that plays with no depth ..... Watching the Knights Manly game , Knights WITHOUT players playing out of their skins ..... Not us we always have an excuse ....

Sin bins cost Manly
Our out of skin game recently was against the sharks but we just couldn’t capitalise
We are still in the 8.. LOL
That should tell you everything

The only reason we are in the 8 was wins against busted teams and a bright moment against parra.

Additionally the quality of teams across the comp is collectively the poorest I can recall. 2 rounds ago we were in the top 6 with an even number of wins and losses. We were in 7th with more losses than wins.

We are now in 8th place, with two more losses than wins. That makes a mockery of this comp in itself...

We may well get into the top 8 at the end of the year, but the quality of the opposition will go a long way to helping if we do.

There are only two teams in the nrl that I confidently think we are genuinely better than. The Dogs and Broncos. We’re in a group of about 8 teams that are pretty average at best.

Playing out of their skins?? Is this the same Newcastle team that twice was playing against 12 men and never looked like scoring?? The Newcastle that did everything possible to let Manly grab a late win. Hardly inspiring and don’t even mention the Newcastle against 11 cowboys at one stage last week that continued to play 5 hit ups for a kick

Just checking.... the Knights looked ordinary in the 2nd half and couldn’t knock the skin off a custard. Still can’t believe that Manly were worse in the 2nd half and remained scoreless
Mate I didn't watch the first half but what I seen of the second half knight were making a lot of ground ...... they dug in ....
