9's coverage of the Broncos v Souths game was extremely 2nd rate in all aspects.

Nine have never been. A perfect example of their naive hypocracy is when Jabba was trying to impress viewers not to miss Nine News between games when he undoubtedly would have been glued to the Fox game.

Fox, the real home of League, doesn't hide what they know is their superiority behind attempts at ignoring another broadcaster . . . even if that broadcaster is only equivalent to the outside dunny

By content and quality fox is miles ahead and I consider it to be the home of rugby league. Nine roll out the same old trash and personalities every year it seems and have shown no will to push the game or even produce new programming

No way, delayed games, no HD , no real serious League program mid week, nil promotion of the game in other states, very poor or biased commentary, no innovation.

Weren't games on Ch9 supposed to be broadcasted in HD this year?

And what happened to those two hours of nightly RL coverage Ch9 were going to do on its digital channel as a part of the new tv deal?

Everything you need to know about channel nine is summed up by their Monday night AFL programme in Melbourne.

They give a 1 hour serious show to a sport they don't even hold the rights to. But can't even do the same for the NRL.

Absolute merkins.

Has anyone noticed in their coverage they have swapped the teams. The home team is now on the right and not the left?

Yes I noticed the same thing, it changes at half time. So left to right then right to left. I don't recall seeing this done anywhere else, it's home vs away and that's it, u don't swap the home to away so that it is following the team on screen!

Thanks for the confirmation. It was doing my head in at first.
