I bought his book- Craig Foster 'Fozz on Football'. He discusses how different countries style of football is influenced by their culture. There are chapters named 'The Mathematics of Football', 'Technique over Physique' and 'Becoming a Football Nation'. I think he knows his football very well, certainly better than me and his detractors. I've only just started reading it but I'm already getting into it.

I too was totally confused by this.

Can we assume it was merely a cheaper option? I was in total shock when I heard Fozzie and Basheer. They are both total and utter muppets imo.

Basheer sounds like he is commentating at a funeral - boring, bland and monotone.

And Fozzie just sits there and tells us how one one team is playing football. Christ, how many f**king times did he say this?

Watch our 2006 games before the 2010 games. The gap between Simon Hill and Basheer is incredible.
