That's rubbish. Hayne is already on big bucks and is a Parra junior. If we lost him to another club it would be the biggest disgrace ever.

He's one of the best players to ever come out of this club.

Been thinking, elections in April. That doesn't leave a lot of games for the board to look popular with their decision to sign Kearney.

They would probably look more popular punting him if we finish last.

I just hope the board dont make any rash decisions to save their own asses like sign SBW to $1m a season etc.

Hayne needs to be re-signed no matter what. If it means punting Kearney, so be it

I personally reckon Hayne will go and quite frankly who can blame him we're a farkin rabble.

In all honesty I wouldn't be surprised if he went to play rugby in Japan for a few years if he wasn't with parra after his current contract runs out.

People think our 09 run was all Hayne, il think you'll find our fowards started to dominant games and in that run we leaked f**k all points. Hayne cops it simply because of that period people have set unreasonable standards.

We need to recuit well in the fowards or Kearney goes.

Back in 09 Hayne did soooo well cause he had a pack of forwards with skill that he could play off. Cayless, Mateo, Lowrie were all capable of throwing an offload or a cleaver Short pass. I even remember Fui putting Hayne through a gap with a short pass. This is something that just isn't happening under SK. Our pack is completely stripped of any skill or involvement apart from one out hit ups and tackling.

I would sack SK on the basis of the teams defense alone, that is just an indicator of poor coaching and quite frankly is unacceptable.

Here is the Andrew Johns buy of the year quote. The link won't work on this website

PARRAMATTA is set to reap the rewards of what was a dismal 2011 season, with recruit Chris Sandow to be the buy of the year for the Eels

According to former Test play maker and Newcastle great, Matthew Johns, South Sydney halfback Chris Sandow has been the buy of the year for the Eels.

“Parramatta will look back at this year and say what was the highlight of 2011 - and they will say signing Chris Sandow,” Johns told nospam11.com.au.

“He’s been terrific.”

It's not like he said he was the buy of the year in the NRL. They said for the Eels.
So who has been a better buy from last year ? Willie Tonga, Esi Tonga or Ben Roberts ?

On the original topic I am hoping that they are securing players like Sio, Radradra, Ryan and Blair first then shopping around.

Ben Roberts up until he was dropped.

The question is has he had had the impact as last year.

Exactly. It is pointless to do anything until a coach is signed. In the last two seasons Bennett and Hasler have been on the market and we are stuck with a bloke that makes Langmack look like a genius. Blokes who look like horses do not make good coaches it seems.

:lol::lol:

Yeah Roberts started the year on fire but sadly for us and him, his last game in first grade was less than ordinary just like his two games for Wenty.
I don't remember Sandow being on fire at the beginning of last year for Souths. From memory he found his best form about this same time last year and kicked on from there. I'm still hoping he does the same for us this year and his last game showed promise of that IMO.

Tonga is a test centre Tony . He is a great signing anyone that doubts Tonga is just plain dumb .

People think because Sandow isn't topping the Dally M charts that he wasn't a good buy. As soon as he can play behind a strong pack he will be massive for us and worth every penny of his massive contract.
And also play under a coach who has a clue and does not drop to pretend he is "hard ass" and makes the hard decisions, dropping Sandow was the dumbest f**ken decision ever, achieved absolute f**k all.

PS
I have been told that the players dislike Kearney IMMENSLEy (sorry spelling)d dont care if they get dropped as they dont enjoy playing under him, this apparently comes from the Wenty camp, though have no idea if correct, though I tend to believe it.

The logic is fine mate. You just don't like it because you don't have any answers.

If our team is so good, why do we need more stars?

If Kearney is such a shit coach, why bother bringing more players in?

Make up your f**king mind. Is the team shit or is it the coach?
The coach is shit therfore wont need to concern ourselves signging any stars as they will not come and play under this Nuffie!!!

If he's such a shit coach, then why do we need to sign more players?

If the team we have is so good, why do you care whether or not we sign anyone new?

Remember - in your own words, last week - "Kearney`s probably not a good coach; don`t know yet if he is a shit coach". I agree with you, the probability is that he`s not a good coach. That should be enough, on top of his dismal record, to sack him soon. And the possibilty is there that he is in fact a shit coach. Anyway, regardless, I think we need to buy a qualiy five-eight to complement Sandow. I would think that, even if we had a good coach (which, in all probability, we don`t).

Oh, and do we hang on to Kearney for another year just to find out for once and for all whether he is in fact 'a shit coach', or just 'not a very good coach'? Might be interesting to find out. I wish he could do it at another club, though. (My money`s on 'shit coach'.)
