Oh & angry, on the Fulton in his prime statement. This Monday night, slippery Monday night, which of the Roosters will isolate Robbo? SBW? RTS? SKD? JWH? At any rate, Robbo will have his work cut out for him. I know who I would want there defending in the half back role.

So of the halfbacks that I have seen...in the big games.

2012 vs Raiders- didn't see the match as I was on a bus leaving Amsterdam.
Dunno how robbo played. Todd did his Achilles.
2008 vs Storm. Everyone was shit. Blake Green was a travesty. Noddy was useless too.
2008 vs Raiders. Buster was good. Noddy standard.
2005 vs Dragons. Noddy played pretty bloody good in this game. The 5/8 was Vagana wasn't it?
2002 vs Warriors. The 5/8 wasn't Matt Johns. Who was it?
Brett Kimmorley on the other hand played a fantastic game scoring angry setting up the other one and played great whilst some other players around him crumbled.
2002 vs Dragons. Matt Johns started the game great then busted his knock and never played again.
Noddy was solid. Over ran the dragons.
2002 vs Chooks. Johns and Noddy both played very well. We got a bit unlucky in some calls.
Noddy however misses all 5 conversion attempts.
2001 vs Knights.
Dykes and Preston both were too quiet. Dykes knee was probably stuffed by now. Preston picked up a niggle in the dogs game but ultimately our forwards didnt lift enough and johns had too much time.
2001 vs Dogs
We thrashed them. Preston and Dykes were both outstanding as was David Peachey.
2001 vs Broncos
Adam Dykes somehow played with a bad knee and he trained in a neighbours pool. He then played outstanding footy as did Preston Campbell.
2000 vs Broncos.
Don't remember who played but we were up by a good margin and lost.
99 vs Dragons
Was it Dykes and Healey? Anyway they weren't good enough obviously.
We had 3 try's disallowed in the first half. Fmd

Bishop been in 1? Robbo in 2?

Robbo in 2? Bishop in 1 Aussie GF.

I believe he might of played in a few Pommy GFs back in the old dart too. Back in the years when the Poms ran roughshot over us poor aussies.

Those Wembley (twin towers) cup days when the games were played infront of 100,000.

You probably wouldn't remember them Precious Reefman being so young but I remember sitting up in the middle of the night watching them live on the ABC in black and white. Eddie Warring calling the big games. Mum and I downing hot milos cooked on the top of the kero heater.

I try and dig up how many Sir Thomas was in but here is a couple of pics of Tom

Here is one of TB scoring a try in the Cup Final before 100,000 plus

FTR, I was there. I was 7. Remember nothing of the day but i have seen that grand final countless times on tV.

FTR so was I, drunk as a skunk on the hill abusing Hartleys (well later known as Hartleys)

I was also at the SCG when they beat Saints, flogged by Manly, then beat Chica Moores Newtown on their way to their first ever GF. Neat hey !!!

On Fultons 2nd try Quigs, what did you think to the lead up work before hand by Manly? Did you see Tommys awesome defense?

Can't you read you f**king idiot. Wombat rolls the No6, Maddog Wellman.(he married the girl across the road from me in Talara Rd) then he is gathered in by (I'll bet my left and right that it is) Greg Pearce

Watch it again if you like.... but I dont want to prove you wrong over and over again

Bozo's 2nd try

Tell me quitgs, what did you think of Tommys defense in the lead up to Fultons try? Tell me about the tackle he made. Any tackle, in that previous set of 6. 12 or 18

Look just because you again have been caught out talkin' nothing but shit I suggest you should just count your losses Precious and let it lie.

Bishop. Liability in defense & the reason Fulton scored both times.

You are the first bloke I have ever heard in the near 50 years of following the Sharks that has been stupid enough to say that Bishops defence allowed Bozo to score both his 73 GF tries.

But youse know what I am not surprised. Once a know all cockhead always a know all cockhead.

No brainer, all this. Bishop was the leading light in turning this club from wooden spoon contender to premiership contender. His constant probing and scheming made football heroes out of several of the lesser lights at the time. No other half back even comes close to the improvement his play gave this club, as both half back and coach. Me? I wouldn't even mention the name of any of the others in the same breath.

Gee Robbo was very good again tonight. Very solid and vastly underrated.

His try yesterday was great. Topped only by Bryce's.
Still shocked we won with so many players "out"

He was god yesterday. Played tough and experienced. Steadied the ship when required.
