As a fullback he’s overated.

As a centre he was fantastic.

As a player in the NRL right now he’s not fit and not switched on to the game like he used to be.

So right now I think he’s over rated if people are still calling him a Superstar of the game.
The game where he went missing the most when they needed him was the prelim v panthers in 2022. But he did get hit across the chest early on by Leota and after that just passed before the line all game.

You have to love NRL fans, Rabbits have beat Eels and Titans back to back who are 14th and 15th on the ladder and people think they'll make a run at the 8 lol
If they were narrow wins you would have a point. The nature of the wins matters. Big convincing back to back wins shows on talent we are far clear of the 14th/15th teams. Not just 12th or 13th, but legit top 8 contenders.

Madge and Mitchell having a meeting pretty much says Mitchell is getting picked.. if QLD win Madge is in the firing line, picks a side built on hard work and effort and back tracks after one loss lol

Mitchell is rounding into a bit of form and is a very good player when at his best, but the amount of people carrying water for him for NSW now is becoming a bit nuts. You wouldn't know a guy like Best is technically the incumbent and played very well when he got a go last year.
I'm the world's biggest Fatrell hater but Best isn't rep level

Best had a good game in the one chance he got. But that's not the point. The point is the way the commentators talk about someone like him compared to Mitchell you'd never know he was even in the frame.
