No punishment. It's just expected that anyone who has to lob up each week for the Dragons, Eels, Raiders or Tigers requires substances of some kind for their mental health

The NRL should reverse the suspension and make him play Friday night.

Latrell Mitchell was restricted to riding an exercise bike at training but Souths say he should be able to serve his one-game suspension this week.

“It’s an unusual situation, it doesn’t happen that often, I don’t think it’s a loophole,” Abdo said.

“An on-field suspension should be served when the player is available to play, so he’s actually missing a match. Particularly if the suspension has occurred prior to the injury occurring.

“So we will look at it all and make a decision.”
