Its never been about fitness, thats just been an easy target to make fun of him about.
Its attitude and understanding. He has the wrong attitude for FB and doesn't seem to understand what is required.
He may well have more talent than 99% of the other footballers but if he doesn't play at centre then he will be just as ineffective as always

The question though really depends on the "rating" going back three years yep. Now I think his flaws are so well known and focused on it's a chance he's now under rated.

He's a mecurial attacking play maker who can do things the rest of the comp can't but who doesn't like the little things and is incredibly thin skinned despite being a poor mix of niggly and thug.

I'm just surprised that no coach has tried to switch him to play centre in defence and then move him to full back after you're moving forward. Can then get a grafting kick return guy to do the hard stuff.
