I'll be completely honest, I only watched the games you played against us. I just feel like he was a more damaging player previous to this year.

I don't get into the stats at all mate, i'm just saying that if you are playing wide of the ruck than you should be getting big metres.

An edge forward should be getting alot of metres running wider of the ruck.

Not really, especially when they have a centre outside them who may want the ball occasionally.

They often get the ball with the defensive line right on top of them. Its why good edge forwards break a lot of tackles. A game against the warriors papalii saved our bacon by getting one on one with blake ayshford and throwing him away like a bag of potatoes to put croker away. He made 0m from that play but won us the game.

Papalii is our most consistent player. Hodgson is our most important player but Hodgson did have a little form slump around the birth of his kid where papalii has been great every week. Like i said papalii did win the greenhouse player of the year award which is a measure to his consistency

Papalii’s role this season has been to draw 2 or more defenders and then put Croker, Wighton or Lee away. Croker has been getting a lot of praise this season and he has Papalii to thank for a lot of it.

Plus his presence on the left edge has turned things around for that side of the field defensively. He has been a good guard for sezer and to a lesser extent croker.

Remember how flimsy the raiders left edge once was.
