Opinion Is Ricky Stuart the most overrated coach ever?

Lol you mob are lucky you didn't have to play the Broncs or cowbs, they would've belted you merkins

The Broncos were really just making up the numbers in the finals series, they were never a real contender for the premiership. They needed the refs to limp past an average Titans team and were shown up for the flat track bullies they are against the Cowboys. You'll just have to accept that your coach despite having everything at his disposal has lost touch with the modern game and that coaches like Stuart, Flanagan, Green and Bellamy will reap the spoils in future years. The Broncos are a spent force.

It's a giggle going back to the start of this thread, allowing for the fact Stuart took so long to graduate still doesn't wipe the egg from my face. . . I feel for the walking omelettes

RICKY Stuart’s rebuild of Canberra has gone beyond the nation’s capital, with the Raiders coach also credited for Mounties’ historic triple appearance in the NSWRL competition.

Mounties, who have been the Raiders’ feeder club since 2012, will have three teams in as many grades in Sunday’s NSWRL grand final day in Sydney.

It’s a feat that hasn’t been achieved since St George has teams in all three deciders in 1985.

Antonelli said Stuart had plenty to do with the club’s success this year, despite Canberra headquarters being a 500km round trip from Mounties’ base in Sydney’s western suburbs.

“One hundred per cent he can take some of the credit. He’s right behind the relationship and checks on his blokes every week,” Antonelli said.

This is how good Ricardo is - groupies from a club he coached years ago take an interest in who wins his present clubs best player award. Even though the groupies' club is one game from a GF!

Why is that funny? They've both been outstanding this season.
Must admit I've only watched the last few games closely
And after that I can confirm Hodgson is way way better than Papali
Papali looks unfit .
Don't get angry at me for saying this but he seems go missing a fair bit.
He'll make a great run and then be rooted for 5 mins.
He looks fat... Compared to a couple of years ago when he was a machine.
In fact he isn't the only one in the team who look a bit off.
Last two weeks they have died in the arse in the last 20.
It is cool if they are in front by 20
Close games are not what they'd want to be in.

I thought he was a bit tubby too the other week. We've got the luxury of having him not do as much work as other forwards in the comp because all our forwards put in pretty equally.

Hodgson is obviously our key player but Papalii has been our most consistently good player all season.

Plus that hit on Gallen still stings Shark’s fans, so that’s just a bonus.
