Opinion Is Ricky Stuart the most overrated coach ever?

Our team is completely different to last year. Massive amounts of talent in key positions ripped from it. We have been a contender most years since inception, this will be one of our few down years at that level. Our squad is too young this year. Nothing to concern yourself with.

If (or more accurately: when) the Raiders miss the finals this year it'll be the first time in 28 years that they've missed the finals in consecutive years.

Also they've had an interesting run over the last 10 years.

Since 2004 every even year they've finished no higher than 6th and no lower than 8th. Every odd year in that time they've finished no higher than 13th and no lower than 15th. Consistently inconsistent.

If Ricky leads them to another non top 8 spot next year that would be 3 years in a row for the first time in their history.

Seriously, he's on the same level as Paul Langmack as a coach. His successes can be put down to Gould/Fittler and inheriting a team (Roosters) and having a bunch of guys at the Sharks who had to play for him if they wanted Origin spots.
