Opinion Is Ricky Stuart the most overrated coach ever?

What a load of rubbish

The sharks player is allowed to run back onside.
He didn’t change direction at all.
Then the pass was thrown forward
The ref was right behind it a called it forward straight away.

Actually it was the assist ref, Gavin Reynolds, that called it forward.

He was marking the 10 metres so was in front of the ball at a bad angle to judge the pass.

Are these raiders fans still whinging? How about you don’t leak 22 points by half time in effectively a ‘must win’ game. It was only wade graham coming off at half time, and general apathy from the sharks, that gave you any sort of chance.
And if the calls were made correctly, the Sharks themselves would have leaked 22 points in the second half.

What’s your point? There’s two halves in a game.

Nup
In the best position to call it.
The referees boss was probably watching from his lounge room.

If the flag call was made and the try disallowed, then the call would have dudded the sharks. Katoa may have got through the defence anyway. We get possession off the red error and a set of 6 in the raiders 20 and you proved to leak points. Or maybe we get repeat sets and you lose by more than you did.

The raiders had enough defensive lapses on their own to lose that game.

Why does he use the phrase "but in this instance" if not to exclude it from his previous statements?
He's saying generally forward passes are subjective and hard to assess on replay but in this case the pass was ok.

For your information:

BUT
  1. used to introduce a phrase or clause contrasting with what has already been mentioned.
    "he stumbled but didn't fall"
    synonyms: yet; More
Or as you have used it in that very post. Haha!

"That's not what he's saying. BUT dont let us stop you..."
That's your best answer? Seriously?

ive never been under any illusion about the issues with the raiders

Shit chairman
Shit board
Shit CEO
Shit coach

But that doesn’t change the fact the Katoa try should not have been awarded and the BJ pass was not forward

Maybe it cost us this game, maybe it didn’t. We’ll never know the outcome had those errors which impact directly on the scoreboard didn’t occur. Denying these errors didn’t impact the game is absurd.

But our season was over many months ago, I’d argue it was cooked when We didn’t sack the idiots mentioned above in the off season
this had no bearing on anything other than this game.

I know exactly the problems that hold this club back. But in relation to this specific game? The sharks got two very favourable and incorrect calls that help them win a game.
Why is that so hard to admit?

Katoa try the was originally a dud call against the Sharks.
The wrong call of putting up the flag nearly cost us the game.
TJ should be sacked

Raiders first try was off a forward pass
Have a look.

Can you please at least do some cursory googling on Newton's law of motion. It's why the forward pass rule is as it is.
It's science. It's fact.
A man running at 15kms per hour (Very conservative estimate of a RL back at full speed) can throw a backward pass and the ball will land in front of where it was thrown from.

The same way you can drop a ball directly to the ground from a moving car and it doesnt land where you dropped it.

We can call it even for the strip on Bateman by Seg.
Next question, Carch.

Which for the record, im OK with, because i have always been in camp "Seg is bitchin"

Does Ricky ever just say the better team won when the raiders lose?

Never. He's a POS.
You wont find a more anti Stuart Raiders fan than me

But even a broken clock is right twice a day.

You do get that when the flag went up it was a dud call against the sharks ey?

Somehow it has been made into the poor raiders were robbed.
