I'm not sure he's learnt anything from 2016 though.

- Still telling the world that the raiders should've already won the grand final.
- They're getting better at closing out games but their fading problem has appeared a couple of times this season
- too matey with the players
- still a chronic whinger

He's finally lucked out on a position that works for simple jack (I still think he's a centre) - althpough not tested in finals footy

Hudson Young eye gouged him, but Ricky just went up a few notches in my book for having a go at Ikin.

As an aside, it’s pretty funny watching Kent try and say it wasn’t an eye gouge and still find a way to say the NRL/judiciary have f**ked it up again.

Yeah, Ricky gets a tick from me on launching at Ikin. Check out the quote from Ikin about it all:

“I got up for breakfast this morning, did a couple of push-ups before I went down, grabbed the Telegraph and not only was it front and centre in the back of the paper, it was on the front page,” Ikin said.

Great stuff. Well done on your upper body workout, Ben.

Some incredibly sycophantic defense coming out of the Green Machine. Amongst other things in this article we find out that it wasn't an eye gouge because Pompey didn't punch him, nor did he even feel it, Hudson has a mum, we have to think about the person (not the guy with the eyeballs, mind you), he didn't go out specifically to do that (weird if he did), he was trying to play the ball (strange technique), he learnt from the last eye gouge, he didn't go to intentionally gouge him but actually nor did he gouge him (huh) but he ripped his hands out as soon as he remembered he'd been in trouble before, and it's probably a facial, but his hand was caught on his face.

Oh yeah, and apparently Adam Pompey has no name. He's just the young player.
