I have no problem at all with special jerseys for good causes. Would be good though to still use green as the prominent colour.

This would be the ideal. Had they switched the white and lime green, there wouldn't have been anywhere near as much backlash. However, the sign language pattern may not have shown up as well which was a big part of the design.

We’ve just played every top team in the comp over the last 5 rounds, won a few and were right in every game up to our eyeballs with matches on the line.

And we haven’t really played our best footy for most of it. Room to improve and capable of winning playing finals type footy.

Stick’s rebrand of our style and roster tweak has been spot on.

That's a very tough period of footy we've just played

3 of the top 5 teams, a panthers team surging after 7 wins in a row, NZ away on a 5 day turn around and the Sharks in front of a sold out crowd farwelling Gallen
4-2 over that period, and the two loses were a game in which an 8 point try was scored from a player offside, and the errror was conceded by the Referee's boss and Simple Jack was an inch away from snatching a win against the roosters... no excuses for the losses, we fell short in those games but those were hard earned wins for Manly and the Roosters

Pretty strong acid test and we came through pretty well. This is not the raiders of old that would lie down and roll over. Any team coming agianst us in the finals will know they've got an 80 minute battle ahead of them

Yep, interviewed before the game and asked are they being rested and replied with no their not, they've just got some niggling injuries
