Opinion Is Ricky Stuart the most overrated coach ever?

Do narcissists apologise?

Apologise. If you've heard someone say, “Narcissists never apologise,” they're not exactly right. While many traits of narcissism like entitlement, elitism, and arrogance make it unlikely someone with narcissistic traits will go the apology route, apologies are sometimes used with ulterior motives.

Maybe Jaeman just suffers from irritable bowel syndrome and Sticky was making the public aware of this in case Jaeman ever shits his pants on the field.

Do a dog act, get called a dog. How on earth has this become a controversy. People are acting like this is a racial or homophobic slur. It's only an insult to dogs.

So his media mates are already ok’ing it . Was not spur of the moment . Spur of the moment was AFB on the field and he got suspended and coped so much shit for saying one word .
Those guys who are on Sticky's media lap dog list are hilarious. They have sold their soul to Sticky to get a few crumbs from him. Pathetic, really.

Rothfield says 'his words were probably inappropriate' and 'he chose the wrong platform' as if there's a good one to label a 10 year old a dog. Apparently Hooper reckons he's fine. I have no doubt Kent, and especially Crawley (named for his ability to slide up Sticky's arse on any given incident) will do the same.

Good to see Cooper cronk calling it out, he’s obviously not in the Ricky pub club.

He called a 10-year-old boy a weak gutless dog, mate. No one's acting offended by the words. People are acting like an NRL coach should be better than abusing a person for acts, what, 10 years ago when they were a pre-teen. And they're right to act that way.

Dogs are famously loyal and loving, the whole etymology of the insult is defamatory and stupid.

Edit: to be fair, you have conceded it is an insult to dogs in your quote above so we are in agreement on that BM.

He didn't single out the behaviour as a child. He is pointing out that he is the exact same now. If someone is a bit of a prick as a kid and then grows up into a good bloke you'd praise his improvement. But if you see the same type of behaviour at 20 as you saw at 10 you point that out.

Just this. You’d have to be pretty dense not to understand why what he said is a problem lol

Yes, he did.

Exact words: "He was a weak-gutted dog as a kid and he hasn't changed now.

And no, you don't have to point out behaviour of 10 year olds as an NRL coach. Especially when you behave like a spoilt child yourself at age 55. Funny, because Sticky is very protective of his family, and any criticism of himself. But it's fine to attack Salmon. Presumably he'd be OK with Salmon's old man telling everyone what he thought of Sticky junior at the time, or his old man. Nah, probably not.

If he just said it was a dog act, or even Salmon is a dog, it’d be fine. But Ricky had to bring personal history into it.

Stuart was sacked as Australian coach immediately after called Klein a cheat the morning after the 2008 WC Final. Regardless of the history between he/his family & Salmon, he clearly hasn’t learned anything in the past 14 years. Very concerning behaviour on Stuart’s part. He should have no place in the game.
