so would you prefer Canberra miss the finals the next three years or scrape into 7th or 8th in 2015 or 16?

Doesn't matter what i think. Our ownership doesn't give a f**k. They'll do what ever they want and to hell with what the rusted on, idiots like me who continue to buy season tickets think of.

In answer - honestly, it's too early to say, i dont think we can make the 8 next year even if i wanted us to do, and i think this time next year, we'll have a really good understanding on where this team is headed, whether it's on the path to something that might be long term success or we're on the path to finally ending Ricky Stuart's coaching career.

Stuart is seeing out at least his initial 3 year deal, and any whiff of a top 8, will net him a 3-4 year extension

Trust me, i know this club. It's a lock

that sounds like Furner ...

that family is destroying your once great club. the only way to return them to the former powers is to remove them and all their allies from any position of power within the club.

Oh im well aware of that, have been saying so for the past 5 years
removing a coach, removing a CEO, a chairman.... it doesn't matter, they are just replaced by other inner sactum lackies. As we did with the chairman and coach this off season.

the rot is coming from the head, not the body.

The board actually created a panel to determine who was the best fit for our club in terms of a coach, that panel was headed by Mal Meninga and recommneded Neil Henry... the ownership of course completely ignored that and hired they guy they call Jr JR

JR is John McIntyre, former chairman, who was recently replaced by Allan Hawke, who in an amazing coincidence, grew up on the same street as John McIntyre. JR's mother changes his nappys. Just as JR's wife changed the Furner's nappies (those are quotes that can be found in the media, they say this stuff with pride)

apparantly who's nappies you've changed, who has changed your mappy, is of vital importance if you want to be someone within the QLC, thus the Canberra Raiders Football club
