The club is well run financially and is asset rich... that is to say it's not at any risk of going under and is probably one of the more stable clubs in the league financially

However, there isn't a ton of corporate dollars available, the Canberra market is pretty small and it's still largely a government town... it's pretty much the worst ingredients you could throw together for shady TPA's
According to this TPA's are a thing of the past lol

Since 2017, the third-party agreement market reduced from $8.2 million to $4.2 million in 2021.
In 2019 the Roosters recorded only $69,000 in third-party agreements but stars such as Cronk and James Tedesco benefited from whole game sponsorships not included in the team-by-team breakdown.
Again the Storm led the competition in 2019 for third-party agreements with the Broncos ($350,000), Panthers ($233,000), Sharks ($212,000) and Rabbitohs ($199,000) not far behind

Nothing to see here. All the top players have mysteriously had 50% of their incomes removed and not bleated a single word about it or gone to Union for silly money. They just all agreed TPA's were unfair for the good of the game and the "whole game" sponsorships that only benefit a few clubs are really cool and not at all Orwellian in name.

Roosters players should be blowing up, only $69k in TPA's despite winning the comp. Someones manager isnt doing their job very well!

Rick does react like a spurned lover when players decide its time to move on lol

Ryan Sutton is a good NRL middle forward. He's got a good motor, he works hard, he tackles well and he's a professional. But he's a #3/#4 middle forward in a good team, who can pinch hit as a starter if you've got injuries or suspension
He's not dynamic with the ball, he doesnt break the line or break tackles, he doesnt really have a second phase game...

So you've got this good player but not a needle moving player, and he's going elsewhere. The problem is that he's not so good that its not reasonable to invest game time into a player like Guler, Horsburgh or Trey Mooney instead of him

The roosters don’t need TPAs while Nick and his golfing buddies keep losing to them! They don’t even need brown paper bags anymore!

Imagine having worked all off season, played 2 trials and then that performance is the result...

But Ricky will be dead in the cold cold ground of Queanbeyan before he'll accept Adam Elliot is a plodder or that Charnze is a busted arse at FB now & for some time too.

It's not a good side if we are honest. The two best players are the anti vaxxer props. Now papalii and tapine are fine players but I don't think two good props is premiership winning material.

If Elliot gets a new contract because he works hard at training that will do me. Not that I will stop supporting the Raiders but I might have a stroke from anger and die if I'm lucky

The spine is a dumpster fire
