Having heard big Sam interviewed numerous times I am still yet to work out what language he is speaking. So far my best gues is Ewokese around a mouthful of c**k, but who really knows.

I'm probably biased but I really don't think it looks that bad. Just seems to me like he's trying to wrench Fifita's upper body down and got into a bit of an awkward position.

Correct. Players know they can't do that. If you're directly behind the player's head, don't drop your full weight on it. Pretty simple. Sux for my supercoach team but Burgess should get a couple of weeks. Having said that, Shillington and Cronk got off so who knows?

Let's just say I'm pretty sure you'd rather it be Fifita than you.

A lousy tackle, no place for it in the game.

Burgess is far and away better than Morley and far and away less of a grub.

Whoever said that Ellis was better than both is high as a giraffes pussy.

Ellis plays clean and his workrate is second to none.

No coincidence the Tigers have softened up through the middle immediately after he finished his stint here.

Morley was absolute filth, remember him being sent in a test match on the first hit up:lol:

14 seconds he got sent off in

Apparently Burgess is getting 1 week either way unless he beats the charge for that tackle last night.

Burgess is nothing like Morley as the NRL tried to chase Morley out of the game by giving him multiple weeks whenever he so much as looked at another player's neck, whereas old flipper hands has knocked out several players with shoulders to the head and walks away with either no case to answer or a slap on the wrist.

How leaving his feet to wrench Fifita's neck forward and put as much pressure on him as possible is considered a grade 1 I'll never know. What would flipper hands need to do to get charged with a grade 5? bring a guillotine onto the field or something?

Burgess has a bit of grub in him, absolutely no doubt, but all the best Forwards do imo.

People forget that he is still only relatively young as well. I'm hopeful that as he matures a bit more that grub element will diminish a little.

I have no doubt that by the time he is finished his career in Australia, he will be known as the best English forward to have ever played here.

One week for what Burgess did -and intended to do- is a f**king joke. But hey, the judiciary is run by clowns so what else would you expect.

Big Sam is a good player. Loses the plot a little when things are not going his or the teams way at times. It was a dreadful tackle, but I wouldn't call him a grub. No more than Gallen anyway.

Sharks stood up in the forwards and that upset the Souths game last night. Great side when their forwards are laying the platform.

When Sam Burgess makes two massive tackles in a row that change the course of a Grand Final then he'll be Morley's equal maybe.

Didn't he get a lengthy ban for kneeing someone who was on the ground in the face when he played for the Roosters?

That was that filthy grub Corey Hughes. He should have got the keys to the city for kneeing that turd in the head.

I haven't really paid much atttention to Burgess thuggery until the last 12 months. Since then, it's been very evident. I don't understand how this guy gets such a glamorous ride in the media from the newspapers, Footy Show etc. like he's some lovable Pommy bloke who has a soft-spot in everyone's heart. I feel the parallels between him and Adrian Morley are justified to an extent, but Morley was by far the more dirty player of the two. I mean, who the hell gets sent off from the opening play of the game? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWqvmGddkyw)

But also at Souffs, Isaac Luke, Michael Crocker and Greg Inglis - also very dirty players as well (no surprise two of those played for the Storm). The number of thuggish manoeuvres I've seen them do in matches over the years and being let off with only a slap on the wrist is a joke.
