Whilst obviously biased, I can't see the issue with the penalty try. The ball is kicked out.

That one was technically correct and had little impact on the game.

Agreed with that. But nothing is called consistently in this sport though.

Felt tonight also reversed the recent trend of calling errors instead of penalties on a few instances. Hard to tell from the back row though.

Parker shouldn't get charged for headbutting Ryan James, he should be given the Dally M, Ryan James is one of the biggest grubs in the competition, no one cares though because all foresight gets lost when it's the Broncos playing, even when Milford milked a penalty off of Cameron Smith who himself is hated by a bulk of the fans here on LU.. it was Milford the one copping the criticism, for what? doing what anyone else in the comp would do in order to get a penalty

Well I hope that despite the fact it was "technically correct" it won't stop the mass outpouring of butthurt occurring at the moment lol

No but it would have been a damn sight closer! Two Broncos try's should have been disallowed and the possession more even, it would have been very close if the refs had done their job properly.

If anything the butthurt comes from opposition supporters who were hoping to see us knocked out tonight, it didn't eventuate though did it, instead the underdog team lost and had decisions go against them, noone cares to discuss how poorly they played themselves, you'd think they played a flawless game of footy if you didn't actually watch it

The penalty try was correct. The two Broncos try's were incorrect, the bomb penalty was incorrect. The video ref overturning the scrum decision on suspicion was very dubious. Didn't see the head butt so can't comment. I'm a neutral but it def felt that the Tina's were royally screwed.

The try that should have been disallowed for kicking the player at the play the ball and the try where the defender was obstructed. The latter has been a no try all season. This time the ref didnt even deem it worthy of a video look. That is incredulous considering how many of them have been sent upstairs and disallowed all season long.

A couple of bad ones I can recall this season:

The Parramatta-Cowboys match early in the season at Pirtek was just about as bad as tonight, maybe not quite but close.
The second half of Wests Tigers-Melbourne after the Storm led 26-0 at half time was quite diabolical. The largesse was turned off as soon as the Tigers got within 6 though.

This was worse than both of those.
