Crowd wise it sucks. Can't imagine getting to the game in Sydney. Its good for the pub, (did that last week), couldn't this week. You can't do one game at the pub and get home before the 2nd though. So you lose the 2nd match if you commute.
The time slot was terrible for Brisbane before end of DLS. Can't imagine it was good for NZ either. Why don't they play NZ in that time slot a bit. Crowds wouldn't be impacted and it would be a more normal time for them???
Having back to back hasn't been great as a Manly fan. Sometimes I don't finish until 7pm, so that's going to be a problem too. If they made some games in NZ and some games double headers, it would make a lot more sense. Start G1 at 6:30, second at 8:30. Obviously in a perfect world with one quality broadcaster.
