THe bloke I wanna give a huuuuge wrap to is Craig Stapleton, he had a blinder of a game. Really muscled up in the forwards and thats what we needed with Cayless and Hindmarsh out. What about when he gave it to Hoppa,  . Cheers to you Stapo ;-)

Great is what a great day at Parra stadium today.

The atmosphere was brillant, the way we rode Parra home in the late stages was something special.

I've been to alot of games over the years, but gee that one ranks right up there in intensity & emotion.

I agree - Hoppa tried to make a personal battle with Stapleton and Stapo kept his head and just played it out tough - just what we needed.

Manly dug their own grave today....they obviously went into the game thinking they could intimidate us - tried to constantly bash us....but in doing that they forgot to play footy aswell....our boys stuck to their task, absorbed the attempted bashing and really stuck it up Manly....great work!!!

did anybody else want to bitch slap shane dunley? that little bastard was uber annoying all game trying to put high shots on everyone.

yeah... i was wondering how long it would take for someone to comment on that. I'm sure I saw about 15-20 high shots from Dunley. The funny thing was that the only one he got penalised for was actually his only legitimate hit all day... it bounced up off the ball.

Keep the Pizzas coming

it may sound funny, but in all seriousness, i think it's true that the pizzas were the turning point. Parra have finally started playing as a TEAM.

They are English cricketers. It goes without saying that they will f*** up somewhere along the line.

I actually find every day a great day to be an eel fan and have done for many a year

I agree, I really do. It was like a moment where the players realised they had to take responsibilty for what was happening and find a way to fix it.

It's always great to be an Eels fan.

Some stand-outs for me were:

1. Hicks makes a break, Wade tackles him one-on-one and saves a certain try.

2. Leuluai tries to rip Micky V's head off; although the tackle was very strong, he goes down, but gets back up and continues his great game

3. Stapleton using Hoppa's fat-arsed head as a punching bag; he's lucky Tsoulos didn't do the same

4. Wags' game - I thought he was outstanding

5. I was at the game; sometimes the announcer started the Parra chants, but on the whole it was the fans.

I AM SO PROUD TO BE AN EEL!!!

I love the players, coach, coaching staff and fellow fans - there's nothing like walking down Church Street after a win yelling and wooing and having your fellow Eels fans applaud you.

Plus that standing ovation to the players at full-time - BEAUTIFUL, GUYS!!!
