You guys really need to review the board , they have handled this whole thing like amateurs.

How does the club sign back end contracts that they can't pay out on, and use the coach as the scape goat; We'll take him at the Warriors but again tigers board want us to foot the bill on what he's owed, we are smart with our finances not stupid...

i guess that depends on how desperate you want him

Yeah poor Sheens if this is what your fans do to you after getting them a premiership in 2005 after turning the merger around for the better then you are better off at another club. We will welcome you with open arms. Imagine if he got the Warriors a premiership, that would be a big FU back that amateurish board at the Tigers and some of their ungrateful fans. This is not aimed at the fans that did appreciate Tim for what he has done.

Are you serious? The premiership was win 7 years ago. Since then we have had power houses in the front row such as Danny Galea, 17 different half combinations this year, a lack of intensity in defence, no structure in attack especially if Benji is out, paying overs for players and than having them not perform.

But hey, he changes things up by rearranging the gym every year.

Mate, its doesnt give a lifetimes free pass either. Whilst we are all grateful for the 05 premiership and club ethos it was definitely time to move on. If he goes to the Warriors he will do well there in doing exactly what he did for WestsTigers but you would no more give him a lifetime freepass for the Warriors coaching position than we did when he was ours. Results do count. It was time to move on. We should not have renewed his contract in 2011. With the benefit of hindsight, he should have taken the Penrith offer. Sheens, WT board and the CEO and the players had all become too complacent.

This situation is the making of the board, not Tim.

In the end he is an employee, he signed in good faith, executives now want to terminate.

Absolutely sits with the executive.

The inept coaching PLUS the stupid contract put us in this position.

Exactly Mac,this situation before us is due to both the board and Sheens,if other supporters think we are being unfair its pretty obvious they have no idea of the blundering antics of Sheens coaching.

Sheens has had all over the club for years, one CEO tried to make him accountable for results,Sheens got him fired,he made it he deserves it,good ridance, just hope he goes to the Warriors,or anywhere for that matter as long as its away

At least Parra can give their coach a cheque when they punt him mid contract.

How are you guys going to pay a new coach when you are still paying the old coach? And why don't the NRL give you some cash like they've been doing with a few other clubs having financial problems? I'm sure a low interest injection of funds would solve a few of these issues and get the club moving forward again.

Not a west tigers fan by any stretch but this entire situation is not good for Rugby League.

If Sheens cannot get a job as a coach than he should consider a players manager job. He has the unique ability to construct an iron clad and water tight contract, apparently with little or no performance standards required.
His first client should be Bryce Gibbs as it is painfully obvious that Gibbs did not utilise this attribute that Sheens possesses because he would not have been axed 4 months into his new contract.
