BLAKE AYSHFORD RE-SIGNS FOR TWO MORE YEARS

Wednesday, June 10, 2009
Wests Tigers have today re-signed exciting young centre Blake Ayshford for a further two years.
Ayshford has played three NRL matches this season after scoring a try in his first grade debut against Brisbane Broncos at Campbelltown Stadium in round 11.
The 21-year-old was promoted to the full-time Wests Tigers NRL squad after some outstanding performances last season for the club in the inaugural Toyota Cup competition. He can play centre, lock and five-eighth.
Ayshford received the Wests Tigers Players’ Player award for the Toyota Cup competition in 2008.
The new deal will keep Ayshford at Wests Tigers until the end of the 2011 season.
“We are very excited to be able to re-sign such a talented utility player in Blake Ayshford,’’ said Wests Tigers Recruitment Manager Warren McDonnell.
“Blake hasn’t been able to have a full off-season over the past two seasons due to injuries but once he gets that under his belt, he will be a much bigger and stronger player.’’
Ayshford said the new contract caps off an exciting season for him to date.
“There are a number of good young players coming through the club and I am excited to be apart of that over the next two years,’’ Ayshford said.
“I know playing under such an experienced coach in Tim Sheens will only make me a better player. There are plenty of good times ahead for Wests Tigers.’’

Last week was an improvement, he's obviously more suited to playing in the centres.

However, having seen him in juniors and now first grade I can't see him ever becoming more than solid first grader.

Good depth player. Maybe in a few years might become something more. Happy to have him on board provided we didn't fork out a ridiculous amount for him.

Positives: He is composed and doesn't get flustered. He has a relatively clever footy brain. From what I've seen of him, I'd rather him in the centres.
Negatives: Slooow motion.

It was a joke. Yes at Inks expense but over the years he should expect it. He gives as good as he gets. Why you feel the need to stick up for him you leech is beyond me.
F**king and dickhead is vulgar language - do i need to keep going??
Ok I will. You say it was a hopeless attack but then call me a dickhead - Hypocricy.
Especially as it never involved you.

It was a joke.
Jokes make others laugh. No one laughed at your joke.
Yes at Inks expense but over the years he should expect it. He gives as good as he gets.
And what did he give you in this thread? Nothing.
Why you feel the need to stick up for him you leech is beyond me.
I'm not sticking up for him, he's capable of doing that himself. I am taking the opportunity to have a go at you for making a completely worthless contribution to this thread with no intent of adding to the actual topic.
F**king and dickhead is vulgar language - do i need to keep going??
lol
Ok I will. You say it was a hopeless attack but then call me a dickhead - Hypocricy.
No, hypocritical would have meant I made an equally hopeless attack, however due to your current pissing and moaning, it was quite a good attack, thus not hypocritical at all.
Especially as it never involved you.
You posted it on a public forum, it involves everyone, dickhead. If you don't want others to get involved in your 'jokes' then send them privately.
