We should well and truly click into gear this Sunday RC. I'm expecting us to blow the Sharks off the ground and I will be very dissappointed if we don't.

We showed last week our game plan is getting quicker. We are using the full width of the field with a good crisp passing game and that's spreading the defensive line out with Wing from dummy half taking full advantage. Also our defence has picked up a gear and given that Mozza is back I can't see us letting the Sharks in for more than 10-16 points.

I also like the Cross-Walker combo! That move could prove crucial.

I think everyone that plays against the Roosters likes the look of the Cross Walker combo too!

Good luck to them. We don't have the best defence in the league because we've got turnstiles! In fact, you'll begin to see a whole new defensive side to Ryan Cross, mark my words.

You're defence is good because other teams struggle to get the ball wide to target the turnstiles - because of the spped off the line your team has (I admit they are a good chance at the premiership, but to me the Bulldogs are the form team at the moment).

Come semi-finals messrs Walker, Cross, Hodges, Byrne and Hegarty will be targeted - and it might work, it might not. Certainly the Bulldogs, Broncos and Panthers have the weapons to do it...

As for defensive, I love it when RC makes stupid predictions, it usually means we don't see him for a week or so... rememeber the last two encounters with Penrith ... priceless

There is far more to our defence than just our speed off the line. Three of our players rank in the top ten for dominant tacklers. Plus our scrambling defence is second to none!

Byrne and Hegarty won't be there unless the injury bitch strikes. Hodges has yet to exercise his demons from the dogs game, that's one of the reasons Lester was swapped.

I find it funny how many are predicting us to open up defensively come finals time when that hasn't happened in years. In fact quite the opposite. Our defence improves come finals games versus regular season games.

But don't let facts stop you from giving yourself a round of applause.

Funny, I'd rate Byrne as a better defender than Cross, Hodges, and Walker. Hell, Walker has to be the worst defensive back going around.

I'll second that Byrne comment CWB. Not sure what's going on with his Premier League appearances, but then again, I'm not a successful NRL coach, so I don't profess to have any better ideas.

Sorry Cogbreath, but it will be a dogs v broncos GF this year. If dragons hadn't been plagued by injuries, they would have been dark horses for the title.

I expect us to give Cronulla the mother of all hidings on Sunday. A fine day on a dry ground with that semifinal smell in the air and Freddy, Finch and co calling the shots if I was Cronulla I wouldn't show up.

There is a trend emerging here... everytime he talks it up, the Chooks get done.

Word of advice. Don't say a word until Friday night. ;-)

As Gough Whitlam once said, It's time. It's time we asserted ourselves. We are the best team in this comp and for the first time perhaps since the beginning of the season we will have all hands on deck.

It's time for us to strap ourselves in and enjoy the ride. I can't wait.

Yep, looked like dead certs to win the comp out there today RC!

Lovely to see you shoot your mouth off yet again, and then have it all blow up in your face.

Hope you're strapped in for the ride in this thread, but I guess as usual you'll go to ground and we won't see you again till the roosters get up again.

I, for one am glad we showed up.

Here are some facts.

Fittler chokes in the finals. Fluked one against the Kiwis.

Minnicello cant play. Cant play full stop. Cant pass. Cant tackle. Cant catch. He will continue to be your biggest liability.

Morley is on the verge of a huge suspension because he is a cheap cat. He is being "managed"

Finch defence is an oxymoron. A liability waiting for big centres.

Lester?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Walker??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Ricketson?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHHAHHAHHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA

Did the Roosters actually have a forward pack out there today? I remember late in the game seeing Morely, Fitzgibbon and Rickitson crying on the bench, but did they actually play? What happened Cogburn? Where was the mother of all hidings? Where was the intimidation? Where were the backs coming into thier own? WHERE?

Go you Mighty Sharkies! How sweet it is!

I must say beating the rorters is better than many, many things except for a congrats message from the Rooster C, which would never happen because of his tunnel vision. He probably thinks the rorters won today, nuh, and 20/1 to win the premi after that disgraceful game. Every team in the comp now knows how to belt the rorters.......Bash them.
