Perhaps the loss against the Storm was "the loss we had to have" to put a rocket up the boys on their charge into the finals.

And if that was the case, then the win against the Sharks was "the win we had to have" to get our for and against on the right side of zero, and to get the confidence in the combinations to take us into the last 2 rounds of the regular season.

It's a shame the ref didn't send Reece Williams off, you surely would have have got to 100. You've just played your grand final against 10 men. Congratulaions!

and congratulations on just nominating yourself as the biggest pr*ck on these forums. 15 posts - all of which are a complete waste of our vision. I have no idea who you support but it's obviously not Parra. The enjoyment you are getting in attempting to kill off our joy from last weekend in what has been an otherwise disapointing season is shallow and you are a complete tosspot. At least let us know who you support so we can give you back a bit...

Enjoy the rest of your week.

A couple of corrections are required there Sherriff of the Deros:

1) In Chris Anderson's own words "we had a bunch of kids out there, three men short". Ie, the three men in the team had brain explosions and got themselves sent off, leaving the kids on the field. And who, by the way, left the team in a position where they had a "bunch of kids" playing NRL?

2) Grand final would suggest some sort of finality. The Eels season is still alive. Should we lose against the Broncos, that would be our grand final, but if we win, then it will be the Panthers, and if we happen to win that and see another result go the right way, then it will be week 1 of the finals... etc. etc. By my calculations, the Sharks played their grand final in... oh... let's see now... about round 17.
