My two cents, having watched him play a bit of lower grades:

He's a "natural" halfback - a first receiver, with a strong running game, smart kicking game, and crisp passing game.

But the most pleasing aspect, for me, is that he loves getting his hands dirty defensively - he isn't afraid to line up a tight forward, and belt the daylight out of him.

Spot on. What's good to see is that he tries hard to improve himself. I first saw him whilst he was still in the 16's. He had a good passing and kicking game but was hesitant taking the line on and was learning how to get his body in front as a defender.

I don't think he'll be ready for first grade this year as he's only played 1 game of 20s. But give him another pre-season and a year of reserve grade and you never know

I reckon he'll spend most of the year in 21's. Whilst he may be tall his body isn't developed enough to play against men week in week out

I am going to assume he is going to be very average like basically all our juniors turn out to be now. He is probably a good organizer but that is about it.
