I love how everyone would call Graham a cheap ass, a dog, a scum, etc before this signing and now those same ppl want to kneel down and deepthroat this guy hahaha same happened with Wendell Sailor back in the day.

Great example of how quickly people choose to drop their opinions/beliefs. ...and funny how some also can't see past their current opinions and hold on to them e.g. Mary being a terrible coach
Are you actually surprised that people prefer a merkin from our team to a merkin from another?

With the arrival of Graham, we're definitely in the top 3 forward packs next year alongside teams like Melbourne and the Cowboys.

Maybe we should just wait and see how well he plays first before you crack the champagne.
Lafai and Nene were big signings too remember?

Thought they were both average signings myself. Lafai was coming back from a serious knee injury and Nene was never anything special and still isn't. Not even close, Graham is a good solid signing. He's a solid first grader, not the greatest prop in the comp (anymore) but definitely well in the top half.

There was no doubt about the fan fare by some in this place re their signings and the subsequent push back against those that questioned them
Time will tell as to this being a good or great signing and I wish him well in the big red v but still question the value of it

The Storm wingers, the Eels wingers, Jimmy the jet, Alex Johnstone, Nick Cotric, Latrell Michell......the list goes on.

I'm jealous of practically every team's outside backs.
Was the only thing that kept Penrith in the game against us.

Fair call.

Yeah, don't know if it's a great signing but it's a very solid and astute signing in my opinion. He's a good team man and his leadership and experience are of intangible value, and something I think we lack. I also think he's got a couple of years of very good football in him if used well by the coach. We don't need another ball playing prop, the occasional offload is fine. We need a hard working, tough and uncompromising prop. Someone to take a bit of pressure of Vaughan and offer a point of difference to Ah Mau. I'm loving the look of our pack next year. Let's hope one or two of the young blokes kick on next season too. I'm tipping Host to have a breakout season.

Why would we offer 32 year old James Graham a three year contract, when we would only offer Packer a two year contract. Agree if we picked him up cheap first year and gave him a second year, but we are recruiting our way into trouble with long contracts for old players. As good a pick up that Ben Hunt is even at overs it was/is setting us up for some pain with a 5 year contract with option.
The cap will go up a million by the time Hunt's 5 years are up so we will not feel the squeeze

And Packer is not worth what the Tigers offered him, no problem letting him go.

I expect Vaughan to play for the Blues next year but at least we know we'll have Widdop and Graham during that annoying time of year. Maybe even Hunt. Bonus.

There is no annoyance, only soft cocks are worried about SOO, the QLD Storm, Broncos and Cowboys always continue on there winning ways like clockwork!
100%
Mental toughness and good coaching required to get through those periods and it hardens you for the end of the season
