Don't thinks so Mish is lost to the dark side. No coming back from there.

I do respect your opinion Murray. I Just need something more concrete than what you gave me.

You would hope that his mum would be the best source. I would hate to see Sammut anywhere else. I think he prefers the fullback position but I would like to see him in the No. 6 next to Wade Graham in the 7. Lewie is doing OK as a makeshift half in my opinion but OK won't guarantee us a final spot. I like a bit flair.

just on your last point you say we do not know how the mutiny went down.Sorry we do there was a split in the club a lot of the younger players where upset at never being picked.Guys like steve carter would be picked no matter how bad they where. The whole mutiny thing would not have had any legs if it was just adamson and Girdler was in the adamson side of the fence.Again i was involved close to the club during that period.
I had the articles up to recently that stated the facts behind it but went with the last clear out

they where the 2 best players in the club at that point so its hard to argue A half to 5/8 is a natural move and also gowie played most of his junior football there. From memory we where very light on that year in the halfs.A lot of the talented crop where already in the top grade. But i will check the old programs to jog my memory on the names of the young guys then

I think from my memory there was Ben Reynolds who got injured. Luke Young (?) is that his name - whatever happened to him??? who also got injured. And of course Girds didnt stay there long because of injury in the first place. I remember we were all pretty excited about the young kid Luke - he could have debuted in Townsville that year and I think he only got in two or three games.

I remember we were all thinking that whoever played 5/8th were cursed. lol. Can't remember who replaced Luke after he got injured.

I think it may have been Scott Sattler. I must admit that I have only started watching Panthers matches on a "full time" basis since 2003, so there's a chance I could be wrong - but Sattler did play a bit of five eighth.

Luke Young played fullback for the Doggies in 2005. Not sure where he was in the seasons before that, and where he's been since.

Sattler was our unsung hero that premiership season, he was outstanding and a big reason why we went downhill after he left IMO.

I'm not in the habit of changing peoples names in quotes murray or are you saying you didnt write all that?

Or maybe you are thinking that I suggested you were the one that said about the dribble? No that was LeagueLegend on Mish. ;-) There seems to be something going on there between the sheets between them two that I am unware of.

.....between THOSE two........

Sammut's 'fair' doesn't fit in with Elliot's overall game plan. Elliot simply doesn't like the way he fits in with the rest of the team.

Has anyone else noticed that Wade Graham does not run the ball at all? Elliot want the ball to go out to the likes of Pritchard and Jennings and doesn't want someone to chip over, dummy or run themselves. That is why Paul Aiton is in reserve grade and why Priddis' career is finished.

If you are someone that likes to run it yourself from dummy half or at first receiver, Elliott will be a career killer for you. Even Masada as good as he is, only ran the ball on one or two occasions last night from dummy half, and Elliot will probably drop him back to 20's next week for doing so.

I hope I see Elliott in Maccas after a few beers, I will finish off the spray that Pauly Aits started before Elliott walked away.

You were a failure with your wife. You have failed your son. So you think you can start on me now?

Ex-wife thankyou very much. I'm now doing ok with a pretty little thing 10 years my junior. Matt Elliott might call that a failure, but I wouldn't. My son is doing 200% better at school than last year. Matt Elliott might call that a failure, but I wouldn't.

Elliott has seen the light .He has sammutt at 5/8 for windsor .It was a waste at fullback as coote and wesser have that wrapped up.At least him playing 5/8 helps him to learn more and be ready if needed
