I want Hayne back but just aslong as we do not lose Semi from it. Semi is the new star of the show and creates that much havoc in a game. I have never seen a winger be so influential in a game of footy.

If Bevans got the goods it may come back to bite us. Although Bevan could be a dud coaching staff would no better.

how much do you pay a winger who can earn close to 7 figures if not more in rugby?

Interestingly, Ken Thornett, Parramattas greatest ever player and fullback pre our premiership years, retired at the conclusion of season 1968 only to return to The Mighty Eels, two years later in 1971.
Could it be "deja vu all over again"?

Ken would be a bit slow for the modern game.

To be brutally honest who cares if the media is on his side or not?

How many people can say they have played at the highest level of american football in NFL, the highest level of rugby league in the NRL and a high level of rugby union at the olympics?

There is literally no argument against these credentials.

"He only played a few games in the NFL"

So... most people were saying he couldn't even make it, and most people never do. Some that have played their whole life would cut off their dick to play one game in the NFL.

Applause from me for Hayne, f**k the cynics.

You are all spectators while he has accomplished amazing things.

Lots of people do amazing things. It doesn't meant that people like them.

lol It's "who cares if you like" not "everyone has to like".

If someones whole life revolves on whether everyone likes them or not I will give you a spoiler for the rest of it: you will always be disappointed and underachieve.

Who cares whether someone is good at sport?

If they are a merkin, they are a merkin.

Also, there at least 6 billion things that are more important than whether some f**kstick played in the NFL. Possibly 7.
